Functional Training
Functional training is a high-intensity form of exercise that combines strength, fitness and endurance. Some of the most important components of functional training are strength, stability and balance, which can be improved by our supports or functional clothing. In addition to these functions, our products also give compression and warmth that can also positively influence your workout. More information below.

Protect your muscles & joints and train harder to enable your full potential
Functional Training or Functional Fitness also known as CrossFit® is the newly emerging trend sport from the USA, which is also becoming increasingly popular in Europe. The basic concept is simple: here the strongest or the most enduring athlete is not sought, rather it is about a whole-body fitness, a well-being - a healthy lifestyle. In this country, too, more and more exercise-loving followers are pursuing this new trend sport. Of course, like any sport, functional training has its own equipment - its gear. The range of exercises in cross training is one of the most extensive of all sports - exercises from weightlifting, athletics, floor gymnastics as well as Freeletics® and other sports are used, which make the sport so varied and healthy for the body. But also here applies: Prevention is better than cure and therefore the experienced Functional Training athlete has a lot of useful utensils at his disposal for the execution of his sport, which primarily pursue the purpose of supporting the joints and health of the athlete even better, so that no signs of wear arise.
CrossFit® Sports Supports, Gauntlets, Belts - making sports injuries a thing of the past
But which functional training bandage do you need for training? Bandages are available for all joints on the body. Areas to be protected are, for example, the wrists, elbows and knees. Especially for this purpose, there are sports bandages made of elastic material, which keep the joints securely in position even under great strain and can thus considerably reduce the risk of injury. Furthermore, the bandages also feel really good on the skin - they give a feeling of security. Especially during heavy RAW squats, the sports bandages prove to be extremely helpful. Although they do not offer any increase in performance, such as powerlifting bandages, they do help to ensure that the movement sequence of the squats is performed in a clean and controlled manner.
Wearing bandages is also a good thing in case of already existing sports injuries - they protect the affected joint against impact as well as against cooling of the inflamed joint tissue. Such bandages are available in various lengths and thicknesses. For beginners, the use of shorter bandages is recommended, because the joints are not yet accustomed to high pressure loads and otherwise there is a risk that underlying blood vessels will be squeezed. The choice of bandage differs depending on the area of application. Wrist supports, for example, are mainly used to support bench presses or all bodyweight exercises such as pull-ups or push-ups. Elbow bandages, on the other hand, are mainly used for overhead exercises. In addition, the supports can also protect against sports injuries that occur, for example, in the event of a fall - so there are far fewer abrasions and bruises in the event of a fall, and also potentially fewer joint injuries.
Summary Crossfit® Bandages
Thanks to the use of a Functional Fitness Bandage, unnecessary injuries to the joints can be largely prevented. The joints are usually more vulnerable than the muscles and their protection is elementary for athletes and non-athletes alike. A Functional Training Bandage is therefore one of the most versatile and at the same time basic equipment items in CrossFit® sports and in this context should not be missing in any CrossFitter's sports bag. Thanks to the bandages, you can start training more confidently and protected and also sometimes push your performance limits without the risk of serious injuries to the joints - because as the saying goes: safety's first!
