In weight training, it is especially important to support joints and muscles. A very good aid can be sports bandages. These support the muscles and at the same time convince with an efficient warming effect. Through additional compression on the muscles, certain bandages can have a performance-enhancing effect. If very high force peaks and loads have to be compensated and instability prevails in the joint (e.g. due to a previous injury), bandages with additional stabilizing elements (such as aluminum splints, coil springs or joint constructions) can be used. These relieve the joints significantly more than a sports bandage made of neoprene or other elastic material and avoid critical situations (e.g. a twisting of the joint) as well as overloading during training.
